The game changer for everybody, Paris agreement 2016, within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) deals with greenhouse-gas-emissions mitigation, adaptation, and finance towards that end. It aims at limiting the global temperature rise by 1.5 degree celsius in this century. All the member countries are required to contribute their bit towards mitigating climate change. There are no penalties for falling short; however the member countries must submit assessment reports on steps taken towards this goal.
