AAKASH facilitates Governments and companies in setting up Bamboo plantations which function as carbon sinks and generate carbon credits which are traced with business map such as those operating in the manufacturing, transportation or shipping industries and help them better manage their carbon footprint. Bamboo cultivation on a hectare has the capacity to reduce carbon from the environment to the tune of 80 tones and release about 60 tons of oxygen. In his last assignment he was part of the senior team responsible for scaling the organization to a 4 Billion USD market cap company. He is an Agriculture tech, Wellness and Sustainable enthusiast. He is currently creating a unique concept of Touch and Tech called “WellCube” for the urban wellness landscape which has the potential to have a Billion USD enterprise valuation in 5 years. As a responsible investor he is involved in a start-up for Agriculture Technology, primarily highlighting the potential crop diseases well in advance using Drone and Hyper-spectral camera data, thus improving the yield. This AgriTech start-up has proudly backed the “Best Innovative Award “by the renowned Marico Group - one of India’s largest consumer Product companies. He is an Investor in the Roof Top Solar technologies with the aim of reducing carbon footprints. A Renowned and accomplished Agricultural Scientist with a Doctorate in Biotechnology, leads the Research initiatives of AAKASH. Awarded Post Doctoral Fellowship by the University Grants Commission, Government of India; Certified Laboratory Animal Scientist by FELASA (Federation of European Laboratory Animal Scientists Associations); Recognized as Ph.D Research Supervisor and Member of Doctoral Committee constituted by Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. His knowledge is backed by extensive Research experience in Mass propagation of plant species through Organogenesis, Somatic embryogenesis and Protoplast culture. A proud recipient of the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Distinguished Fellow Award for Botany and Har Gobind Khorana Award which is awarded to the outstanding young scientists with innovative ideas for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology.
