He served as one of the Preliminary Panel Advisors, Award Committee, Sahitya Akademi, Govt. of India. He has gained a considerable administrative and managerial skill by serving as the Chairman, P.G. English Examination Board, M.S. University, Tirunelveli; University nominee in several academic panels and inspection committees, P.G. and U.G. Boards of studies of various Autonomous institutions and Universities, environmental activist in many eco-clubs and subject editor in the Editorial Board, Outreach: Multidisciplinary Research Journal.
